Julie was the ring leader, the one that got everybody together to bake cookies or play with the Ouija board her Mom didn’t know she had. It was pretty innocent fucking around, but by senior year, you’d drifted apart, coming together again only briefly when Julie died in her sleep two weeks before graduation.
