The Northern Marches
The action begins at the “Last Inn” on the edge of the northern marches. A party of adventurers meets there to seek a way to tap the riches of the frontier. Gold, mithril and gems are rumoured to exist and are sure to be found. Cue the music:

Players’ Notes
This story is set in a frontier region on the edge of civilisation. All the characters are would-be adventurers. Adventuring is neither a common nor a safe activity here, and the player characters are the only ones interested in risking their lives in the wilderness in hopes of making a fortune.
The characters will get to explore anywhere they want in the wilderness, but the south is not a place that they can go because there are no adventures in those civilised lands, just a dull life with no adventure.
The marches are dangerous. Very dangerous. If a character does not think ahead and simply charges in they ARE going to be killed. If you cannot accept the DEATH of a character, please do not sign up. Also please note that the action will often not be based on the interactions with friendly NPC’s that you may find in a city or town setting.
Because the characters are exploring in a dangerous environment their exploits will be seen as the stuff of heroes and legends! They will have bragging rights!
Narrator’s Notes
I am looking to run a role-playing adventure in a fantasy medieval setting.
A party can consist of up to four characters and I am looking for a balanced party of different classes such as fighter, cleric, ranger, wizard etc. So I would prefer not duplicate a class if that is possible. It is up to you.
I will try and keep the action going - you can expect the scenes to run at least one or two times a week. I will take steps to make sure that the story moves on at a reasonable pace…
