The Myth Seekers Society is so old and secretive, it has become a myth in itself.
The sleepy Appalachian town of Coburn, Pennsylvania has collectively been experiencing strange sightings, and even stranger dreams. Troubled by the sudden and widespread onset of this phenomena, the town’s council begins to explore the possible causes. The water is tested, the air is tested, the gas and sewer systems are evaluated, inspectors are sent looking for lead paint in residences. When all of this turn up no leads, they seek help from the federal government.
The Seekers have seen this before. The first two times, they were too late, too inexperienced to stop it. The Mothman has come to Coburn, and it’s trying to warn the townsfolk. A team of four is dispatched to investigate, locate the creature, and figure out what horrible prophecy he’s brought this time.
