Welcome to modern day Newport Rhode Island a city steeped in history both mundane and fae. A sailing port dating back to the earliest days of New England and spotted with the vacation homes of the gilded age robber barons. But there’s a fantastic side of Newport too. hidden from mundane eyes by Faerie glamour is a world of mythical beings and machiavellian intrigue. It grows harder and harder to hide the second nature from the first.
And if rampant fairies isn’t bad enough, Newport is crawling with ghosts, some far older than the conquest by the white man. And ghosts have their own personalities, needs and wants too.
The peace between the Glamour, the Veil and the Mundane is fragile, largely based on lack of knowledge and powerful friends who take care of problems. The worlds have generally maintained a self interested laziness. But that is threatened when murder and disappearances on all sides has jeopardized that fragile lazy peace.
Somebody has to help keep the fragile peace in Newport. And that somebody, might as well be somebody like you, somebody with an interest in both worlds.
