Welcome to Renegade.
Long time ago, in the forsaken continent of Renegade. The lands were doomed by eternal fear and death, which came in many forms of sandstorms, blizzards or meteorite showers, but its people managed to live a life like that, and things seemed fine for over a century.
In the ancient time, when the lands were new. Everything was consumed by The Darkness, entity of shadow and ruler of chaos. But even in the darkest time, hope was still strong. The Elder God has banished the eternal darkness, leaving the lands in peace and harmony…yet, The Darkness was not truly defeated.
Ancient prophecy has told about the end of time. When The Darkness will return, and claim everything back. Only 4 ancient relics could stop this madness, which were owned by The Elders, The Elder God’s best soldiers back in the old day. But they have lost in time, and became just fairy-tales for common folks.
You, as a member of The Council, order of bravest warriors from all of the lands, have one mission. To fetch out the relics, then stop the apocalypse by any mean.
People like long description, so here it is. This is going to be a dark fantasy. The world is not a beauty and lovely place full of flowers and neon pink unicorns. Even though the story is simple and straightforward or even cliche, i just find people that love this kind of story.
You will travel through 4 forbidden lands. Morpheus Path consumed by an eternal night, terrorized by unimaginable entities from the darkest corner of the world. Varin, the land faced its fate by great waves from the ancient time, only left with a few islands and isles as shelters for its people. Eden, a green lushed land destructed by bone-chilling whiteout and unbearable blizzard, left with a wasteland of ice and fear. Sarinn, home to endless sandstorms and famine, ruled by bloodthirsty warlord and his band of marauders and fearful Sand Juggernauts.
And you have it! Simple fantasy. No princess school. Non-complicated story, of course, this game is 100% not directed by Hideo Kojima.
Morpheus Path : Travel into the land know as The Depth, where twisted trees of thousands thorns formed a forest, home to fearful creatures of the night. With only a few villages manage to exist in this horrible land of death and despair. The mysterious Tower of Twilight lied in the heart of the Forest of Oblivion, where you shall enter, but shall not exit. The only reason for you here, is the lord of the Tower of Twilight, know only as Vilkrim the Blood Prince.
Varin : Beautiful corals and sea creatures are surely not your reason of existant here, but instead its inhabitant. The vast Oriana Ocean lied many dangerous secrets. You might find a lost treasure, or your most horrible way to die. Anyway, don’t forget to visit the infemous Bounty Hunter’s Den, home of the bravest hunters this land has to offer. Some of them might know something about Darus the Ship Hunter, also known as your target.
Eden : Home of the Snow Elves. Where blizzard never rests. No one has set their foot in this region for hundreds of years, except a group of pilgrims. Sadly, they never found any soul in sigh, and faced a cold, cold death by the Snow Sentinel, Edin.
Sarinn : Explore the far cry land consumed by sand and dust. Home to bloodthirsty marauders and hideous predators of the great sand. Could you hunt down Garin, the Infamous Warlord and his band of sinful men during this unbearable, skin-burning heat? Only one way to find out.
