It has been a couple of months since the transmogrifier mishap on the Rumscroft Farm. The three robbers-turned-chickens (Dakota, Kaz, and Phil) have successfully escaped both their fowl forms and the law; other than the tractor they stole as they made their rural getaway being found in a ditch a few miles down the road, there has been no sign of them. It seems luck has stayed on their side.
Back on the farm, however, things have not been so lucky. Roger Rumscroft, the only true human remaining, has had a lot to deal with in the aftermath of that madness.
First, it was wrapping his head around the idea that his wife of more than thirty years is now a goose. And that his adult nephew (the inventor of the transmogrifier) is now a weasel.
Second, it was the realization that some of the farm animals he has fed and cared for every day are now physically human…and totally unequipped for their new lives.
Third, it was coming to terms with the amount of death and debris scattering the property (SO MANY FEATHERS) and just how to move forward.
But move forward he has and these days Roger’s greatest challenge is helping those who were transformed adjust. It’s been difficult for everyone and the presence of odd new strangers/disappearance of familiar faces on the farm has not gone unnoticed by the other human residents of small town Ohio.
You and your fellow players are chickens who were transformed into humans. You have done your best to adapt to the dramatic change but there is still much about humanity you haven’t quite figured out.
Will you be able to accept your new non-chicken existence? Or, more importantly, will you ever be able to transform bok- er, rather, back?
