Just as everyone thought the Cold War was finally melting into a new age of prosperity and, uneasy, stability across the globe – one training manoeuvre gone wrong finally brings into reality the end of humanity as we know it. The skies burned red, the epitomes of man crumbled beneath the flames and radiation that purged the soil and mutated those unlucky enough to have to survive outside of the Vaults. The Vaults, however, protected the richest and the most elite sections of society – designed by Imcomptech and installed across Europe and America for security against the end of the world – these vast networks of tunnels and infrastructure would help those able to pay to survive for at least fifty years below ground. Even longer if they maintained the infrastructure and command hierarchy instilled with every installation. The day is the 21st May 1990 and this is the day that the world ends as we know it…

Inspired by Fallout and many other post-apocalyptic survival stories, this Storium will be about many of the world’s elite dealing with a shattered and radiated world after something forces them out of their vault prematurely. They will face the many horrors of the wasteland and those who survived the nuclear fallout on a journey to find everything they wanted from the vault, food, water, security, love, shelter all will be out there if they can find it. The story will be action orientated with an arc surrounding what happened to the vault and what forced them all out into the wilderness. I am looking for around 4-7 characters with a slow to medium pace that are committed to the story. I have a rough idea that there will be a Prologue surrounding how you got to the vault and the world as we know it ending then the corruption of your vault and then the vast exploring of wasteland Europe.
Rules
• Avoid posting single-lines, they tend not to have enough for the next poster to feel inspired or go on, you do not have to post several paragraphs, but at least 1 paragraph per move would be preferable.
• Feel free to act on your own and apart of the party, I like when players take their time and do character development or explore outside the main plot line, but please avoid abandoning the main plot entirely.
• If a player is inactive for 48 hours without having left a comment as to why they will be marked for expiration, in that time the rest of the party will find a way to move on without the missing character and should he return within the next 24 hours he will be allowed to write a move to catch up with the other and return, otherwise they will be killed off or retired.
Any questions don’t hesitate to ask me via Private Message or twitter available on my profile. Forum discussion have been started but I am excited for your applications.
I am looking for 4 -7 characters that can post regularly (72 hours) and with a commitment to quite a long Storium. Hope to see your characters soon!
