It’s been ten years since the meteorites hit.
The world has changed since then. Those the radiation didn’t kill instantly were transformed instead—activating a dormant gene in some (mostly younger) known today as the Prime gene. New powers. New mutations. New regulations to deal with the Primes of the world in order to ensure that they did not remain a threat to those without powers.
Still, the Earth has settled into a new normal, one where superheroes are used as government assets and supervillains may or may not be all bad. After all, Defectives—Primes with mental illness that negatively affects their powers—are villainized by society, and institutionalized if they get caught. The only other option is to go on the run. Because Institutions are not made to help sick people. They’re made to exploit them.
Luckily, all of that is about to change.

One minute you’re going about your day, minding your own business, living the life the best you can. The next, you’re waking up in a cell in a room with a bunch of other people. On an alien spaceship. In space.
Turns out those meteorites that fell to Earth ten years ago were scouting agents for extraterrestrials known as Neviezens. What do they want with Earth? What do they want with you? Most importantly: how do you get out of here?
