The history of the world as we know it….
Ain’t worth the paper it’s written on. Everything you think you know is just a crap reflection of what really happens. The ancient Greeks philosophized on what they were told to. You think the Roman Emperors were men of power? They just did what they were told, or died trying to do what was right. And nothin’s changed since.
Light, darkness, renaissance or dark age, they’s just reflections of a bigger picture, one that most people never get a look at. There’s a whole friggin’ war going on and every petty little power is trying to claw its way up to the next level. Everyone just goes about their day, clockin’ in and clockin’ out without even noticing much of anything. Everyone except a few unlucky schmucks like me.
And now, like you.
You see that the days seem a little brighter, right? And the nights… well you used to think you knew what a dark night was. You ain’t seen nothin’ though. These nights, they’re all gonna get darker, until the real night of darkness comes. And then those people who ain’t to busy messin’ their pants? Well that’s gonna be me and you too, and it’s gonna be up to us to save the freaking world.
Again.
Night of Darkness is a noir, urban fantasy jaunt through a farcical world where things go wrong and heroes are as hard boiled as an egg and as black and white as a lightning strike.
