San Francisco. Landing site for the first kaiju attack, the city is a wasted shell of its former self. Slowly key parts of the city are rebuilt, including a specialised Shatterdome which houses recruits and volunteers to the Jaeger programme: mankind’s only defense against the monsters which rise from the deep.
Only a small percentage make it through the intensive training programme designed to weed out all but the best and brightest. Even if you do make it through, one question remains.
