Well. You’ve made it. Where, you ask? To Icaria, of course!
Icaria, a lush, healthy planet teeming with life, has just welcomed it’s first human visitors. After Earth imploded, humans have been wandering the galaxy, slowly dying out. They had prepared for the implosion and built podships and spacecraft, yet they did not have enough resources for a long-term stay drifting in space. When the population had gradually dwindled down to a small number, Icaria was discovered.
Unbeknownst to those humans, however, is the fact that Icaria is already an occupied planet. Similar to humans, there is an dominant life form on Icaria.
Called Icarians (so original lmao) they are split into three different groups. Woodfolk, Riverpeople, and Skyborne. Each group functions similarly like that of tribes. Different customs, traditions, and languages, though the root cause for all three is the same.
Skybornes are free-spirited, blowing through life like a gentle breeze. They are understanding and often temperamental, similar to tempests. Skybornes live in high treetops or mountains in one large group, providing for each other. They mainly consist of agricultural workers or farmhands.
Riverpeople follow the water. They are spiritual and free flowing, looking to the water as a guide. Riverpeople live in bodies of water. They don’t all live together, however. They scatter and live seperately, working together when it benefits all. They mainly consist of healers or similar jobs.
Woodfolk are strong, stubborn, and firmly grounded. They live in harmony with the earth, taking care of the millions of creatures around them before themselves. Woodfolk live in forests, broken into multiple large groups. They help each other when needed, but they traditionally only come together on festivals. They mainly consist of builders or merchants.
The groups live perfectly, the occasional skirmish here and there, but nothing more. That is, until the humans arrive.
You can be one of the following:
A human, Skyborn, Woodfolk, or Riverperson. More details in the application info and the character creation itself.
