A medieval war breaks out between Humans and Magical species (fairies, elves, centaurs, gnomes, etc.) A childhood group of humans and magical creatures comes to an abrupt end as war, chaos, and premature adulthood shock the small pacific village of Caeden:

But what you may not know is the story of those behind the war. Of how Ilya was part of a group of childhood friends that were no more than twelve and how his friends’ paths would change the world.
Ilya, Pyter, Fea, Guildor, and Promethean had their destiny shaped by the war, and although they could never predict all the passions, betrayals, deaths, and oaths that would be in their path, they knew one thing: they would never forget each other.
