You’re a criminal. You’re very good at what you do. One day someone contacted you and hired you to do a job. He made if very clear that if you didn’t cooperate – whenever he wanted you to work for him – you would “find your liberty severely curtailed. Permanently.” You know it’s no good to run from him. He has the kind of resources that he can find you.
So, he calls, you come running. It’s not too bad a gig – you get to keep any unconsidered trifles you find along the way, not to mention the ‘expense’ money he fronts you. Only this time, it’s different. This time he called some other people, too…
Think of a Leverage-type verse crossed with the ‘boxed criminal’ trope. You’re not ‘helping those who can’t help themselves’ so much as you’re possibly a very important but unacknowledged cog in the ‘saving the world’ machinery (or maybe not).
Players are encouraged to write their own cards, provided they stay within the basic criminal-specialist archetypes.
Looking to have 4-5 players total, for a manageable crew.
