The hidden citadel of Arvendar has trained Dragon riders for centuries but with the rise of the Monkal dynasty peace has been brought to the Four Kingdoms and the Dragon Riders have become less and less present in the skyes.
Political maneuvering and human shortsightedness have rendered Dragon riders almost antiquated. The few seen are there for show and the aggrandizement of the ruling classes.
But now after almost fifty years The Council of Wyrms has sent a request to countries, cities and organizations for new recruits. Speculations abound but the Citadel remains silent.
The Grey Ships, hidden from view and scrying by potent spells, have just departed from the Nations’ largest ports, full of potential riders, and are making their way to Arvendar.
All aboard know that there are no going back and glory awaits them, if they survive training and the dragons.
