Once upon a time, the world was wider, and brighter, and kinder. Stars were for wishing on, and the forest was not quite so dark. Wolves did not win, and stepsisters did not cut flesh from their feet, and quests did not wither on the vine, forgotten, before a single step was taken.
Once upon a time is not now.
Tales that have been passed down to children, safe and comforting, have grown corrupt. They are your tales, and they have been ruined.
Before the final sentence can be written, it is up to you to discover what lies beyond your own pages - or to stand aside and let happy endings become a thing of the past.
Book of Tales is a fantasy/horror story for 5 players. Expect it to be dark.
Players may apply as any character from a fairy tale - but bear in mind, the tale has been twisted. How that manifests in your character should be significant, but is ultimately up to you.
Please describe your character, giving focus to their personality and how they have been altered by this change. Please also provide a short version of the tale, as it exists in its new form.
