July 27th, 1983.
News reporter live and reeling the news studio camera as they recorded a newly discovered plant. Bell-shaped, speckled with green and purple like paint splattered wildly on it, whilst it had an unnaturally pale yellow as a base color. Many people were skeptical of the newfound discovery, mainly because of the latest horror movie cliches of always dying by new discovered species later identified as aliens during that time period.
Oh, how right they were to be cautious.
Soon after taking samples, Scientists discovered the discovery exhaled a toxic fume that seemed to morph and brutally reform human anatomy into something unholy, even ghastly if you wanted to sound snobbish. They tried to contain all of the lethal plants in labs, yet somehow it spread through the world like rapid fire as it released the chemically toxic perfumes.
Twenty years later, the world gone to shit, Very few survivors were left. Some deemed to have just gone “The easy way” out, others having lost their lives from surviving. Westbrook Connecticut, A town of scavengers grouped together. An elite league where they watched over the famine-beaten survivalists.
What happens when their working paradise suddenly breaks down, allowing the metal doors to be open wide for all to break in? Who would survive? Who would finally get to see the world for what it has become, rather than be kept inside the metal walls that hid the scornful punishment from heaven above.
