A group of talented people from across the country get invitations to a party in a mansion on a private island by a enigmatic tech tycoon. For whatever reason, they accept.
All is fine for the first day, but then some of them stumble across a headless body in a storeroom. Then a voice crackles through the loudspeakers dotted throughout the mansion, telling them of the killing game they are now trapped in.
The rules are simple.
1.A person who can kill without getting caught by a subsequent investigation can leave the island.
2.All others remain on the island.
3.The Game will continue down to the last 3 people, who will then be let free.
4.If the group chooses to not kill anyone, they are forced to remain on the island forever.
5.No one is permitted to harm The Butler or The Housekeeper. Anyone who does is immediately killed.
Even as they are stuck in this Killing Game, the group begins to discover many strange things. Who keeps replenishing the food stores? Why does this mansion contain evidence of an older killing game? Who is the dead body? Who are the two mask figures that help service the mansion? Who is Graham Dram really? And could there be someone in the game working with him?
